The Knights lost to Ridgefield 11-2 today at Luke Jensen. The Knights jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning after hits by Ty Mairs, Cole Sherertz, and Isaiah McLeod. The team held the lead for the first two inning but then went down 3-2 after the third inning. The score was 5-2 going into the seventh when Ridgefield rallied for 6 runs in the last inning. Overall it was a well played game by King’s Way facing a very tough Ridgefield team. Brett Filuk started the game on the mound and pitched three great innings. The Knights have one more non league game at Woodland on Saturday before league play starts next week.
