The King’s Way Boy’s Golf Team headed up Olympia for the State Finals on Monday. After a soggy warm-up round, the tournament kicked off Saturday for Cole, Ty Mairs and Aiden. By the time the first day rounds were completed, sophomores Ty Mairs and Aiden made the required top 40 cut putting them into the final day of competition on Wednesday. “Mairs finished at 87 and the projected cut was 93 so, we felt comfortable he was in.”, said Coach Tigner. At the time of wrapping up their day on Tuesday, Mairs finished 27 and Pisarczyk finished 34th and Cole ended at 40th. “Cole was an excellent teammate and we so appreciate his service and commitment to the Golf Program at King’s Way Christian.”, said Athletic Director Coach Butterworth. Unfortunately, at the time of everyone’s finish, Cole was not able to make the final cut leaving Mairs and Pisarczyk to tee off early on Wednesday. Stay close to social media for updates!
