Boys Varsity Track, Girls Varsity Track · State Track and Field Wraps Up

Eastern Washington University in Cheney was the site of the Washington State 1A Track and Field Finals.  The Knights sent out three athletes to represent King’s Way after their stellar performances at Districts in Woodland.

Lacey Zook took 7th place in the discus event after throwing personal record of 128”7 in a previous meet, also setting the school record.  This senior fought through adversity to reach the State finals and walks away with a very respectable place.

Junior Justin Frahm finished 8th in the 200m.  This multi-sport athlete journeyed to State after placing 3rd in Districts in the 200m and wraps up a season with still one year left in his career.

Sarah Turcic also placed 6th in the 100m hurdles.  The senior wraps up a career worthy of praise after serving her entire 4 years of high school here at KW in both girls soccer and track and field while maintaining outstanding academics.
