On Saturday the King’s Way Baseball team volunteered at for the Miracle League of Vancouver. As coaches we were extremely proud, humbled, and honored to see 16 of our players to show up to Union High school at 8:45 a.m. the morning of Home Coming to lend a helping hand to Miracle League. Each Knight’s player was designated as a “buddy” for a Miracle League player. Their job was to work alongside that player for the day and help them play a game of baseball. Most of the participants of the Miracle League have been told they cannot participate in “mainstream” sports so the work they do in allowing these young players the opportunity to play baseball is amazing. Thank you Miracle League for the work you are doing and for the opportunity to serve. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
