Girls Varsity Volleyball · Volleyball Wins Through Adversity

Sometimes its about winning the ugly ones.  One of the qualities of a great team is finding ways to win games even when you’re not playing at your collective best.  The Lady Knights were able to find their stride after falling to La Center in the first game.  King’s Way won the next two sets to take a 2-1 set lead into the 4th game.  However, the Wildcats weren’t done fighting and was able to force a 5th game.  The ladies pulled together and put La Center away quickly in the deciding game with good serving and defense.  “It was ugly, but we pulled together to bring home the win.”, says Coach Agan.  “At the end of the day, the girls found a way to get it done and I’m proud of ’em!  Now onto the District Championships.”

The ladies are heading to Castle Rock for the District Championship game against the host school, The Rockets of CHS, at noon.  Lets get as many fans out there as possible so we can hang another banner!
